Susan Julie Gonzales’ career has been motivated by a love for all things natural and a strong sense of the spiritual in the universe. These guiding principles have led her to develop a portfolio of tree images she calls “Creaturas Arbóreas—Tree Creatures.” The images of faces and living creatures in the bark of trees may, as Susan says, “change the way you look at trees forever.” Susan is a licensed practitioner with United Centers for Spiritual Living, an Inspirational Consultant, a motivational speaker, and Laughter Yoga teacher. Susan has shown her photography in California and Arkansas; is a regular speaker in Little Rock, Arkansas; and serves as a Laughter Yoga speaker at conventions, retreats, and senior facilities, among other venues. She has led Laughter Yoga workshops– emphasizing its therapeutic value in dealing with stress, depression, and simply the burdens of living in a modern world–with individuals, at colleges, and for business settings, Susan stresses the community and team building effects of laughter yoga. Inspired by a love of life, Susan’s life aspiration is to inspire others to embrace life with love.
